About Tiffany Rogers, LCPC

You’re here because you’re giving yourself permission to take a different path.

I’m fully prepared to be your guide, not only because of my education and training as a licensed therapist, but also because of my lived experiences. I know what it is to check all the boxes and still find yourself feeling unfulfilled. I spent many years doing all the things that were expected of me — spinning my wheels living other folks versions of success, but it never felt like I thought it would. It never felt good. When I began my inner work, I realized I didn’t have to settle for a life that looked great to others but felt terrible for me. I realized I could create my own definition of success, lean into my authenticity, and find great joy and meaning in my every day life. And you can, too.

At the core of my approach to therapy is this belief:
You deserve a safe space
to be unmasked and fully supported.

As a Black woman, I know that we don’t have enough safe spaces in the world. Even the spaces we expect to be safe aren’t. So the therapeutic relationship is truly sacred. My priority and commitment is to cultivate a connection that allows you to relax, stop performing, and be authentically vulnerable so that you can embrace the self-discovery, growth, healing, and transformation you’re seeking.

Sometimes healing is the process of reclaiming what’s been lost.

Here’s what you can expect in therapy with me:

I’m real. I don’t believe clients benefit from therapists being blank and cold. That’s old-school traditional therapy and it’s a big no for me. I’ll never just sit and nod at you. I’m in this with you! I’m real and our relationship is too. When it’s helpful, I’ll share my ideas, opinions and reactions. Knowing someone is with you and for you is a big part of the healing.

I go deep. If you’re looking for a quick fix, I’m not your girl. I offer depth-oriented therapy. That means our sessions are rarely just focused on what’s happening in the present. I’m often paying close attention to any patterns I notice happening in your life — in your thinking, your behavior, and your relationships. In life we often get stuck on autopilot and don’t realize we’re reliving the same scenarios again and again. I help you build insight and awareness into the root causes of those dysfunctional patterns so you can finally break free and live with greater intention.

I customize your therapy. I create a unique therapy experience for every client because everyone needs something a little bit different. How we’ll work together is specific to your goals, needs, and preferences.

I coach. When I say I’m in it with you, I mean it. When therapy is working, you’re often trying new things outside of sessions in your life and relationships. And you may need additional support as you do. I make myself available for brief calls, texts, and emails between sessions to coach you through challenging moments, or even just to celebrate good ones.
